Rainbow Community
The Rainbow community is a vibrant group of people that celebrates diversity in sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace. We believe that being our true selves allows us to work at our best and fosters a happier work environment.
Goals and activities
We bring together LGBTQIA+ employees and allies to promote an inclusive environment within TNO. We actively collaborate with colleagues across the organization to create a workplace where everyone feels welcome. By organizing inspiring, educational, and enjoyable events, we build a supportive community.
We engage with management to develop a shared vision of inclusivity and work towards practical systems that enable LGBTQIA+ colleagues to thrive at work. To further our policy goals, we collaborate with Workplace Pride, an organization dedicated to enhancing LGBTQIA+ employee well-being. As a proud member, TNO has signed the Declaration of Amsterdam, affirming our commitment to this vital cause. Workplace Pride provides valuable insights to focus on key areas for increasing inclusion.
