Biobased and Circular Technologies (BCT) focuses on the thermochemical conversion of sustainably grown biomass into renewable energy, chemicals and materials.

Biomass

Biomass is a collective term for material of plant or animal origin. Examples include wood, manure, food waste or vegetable oil. In the transition to sustainability, biomass has an important role to play.
