Bart Sander

The focus of my work is particularly on making new technologies applicable. At TNO, I gained extensive knowledge and experience in the field of security processes and led several projects for (inter)national partners in the security domain.

During my time in uniform service with the police I learned that there can be a large gap between policy and practice. I am committed to making this gap as small as possible. I do this by providing focused advice on the process of innovation for various organizations. This has led to some successful innovations in the security domain and a lot of knowledge about how the innovation process works in the public sector.

Currently, I am particularly committed to making innovation more applicable at a large partner in the security domain. I do this through the short-cycle innovation methodology (CIP).

Furthermore, I am very interested in the application of rapidly developing AI technologies and physical security.

My mission is to contribute to a safer world through applied technology in the security sector.
