Jan-Pieter Paardekooper

Jan-Pieter received his M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree in theoretical astrophysics in Leiden, in 2006 and 2010 respectively. Since 2016 he is a researcher with TNO, on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) in connected and automated vehicles. Since 2018, he has been a part-time Research Fellow with the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Radboud University. His research focusses on making vehicles safer by using AI, and ensuring AI is being used safely in vehicles through V&V of AI-based systems.
