Dr. Jayeeta Sengupta, is a biologist with a strong background in drug development and biomedical research. Specializing in client interaction, business innovation, and development, she bridges research and business expertise to envision the commercial and societal impact of new research. With experience in client-facing roles, Jayeeta excels in translating market needs into successful project plans and crafts innovative research propositions for clients.

Expertise

Holding a Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with a focus in the area of Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicology, she has contributed to projects globally and authored multiple research papers. She continued her research career by pursuing two post-doctoral research positions - Post-doctoral researcher at the University of Alberta, Edmonton (Canada) and IFOM ETS - The AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology, Milan (Italy).

Her previous roles include EMEA Customer Training Manager in the Electron Microscopy Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and Valorization (Commercialization) Manager, Business Developer at Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus – Maastricht University and working for start-ups in start-up incubator HightechXL.
