Kees Buijsrogge
Contact me to uncover how to connect with TNO’s long-term roadmap for Space & Scientific Instrumentation. As Director, I am responsible for the strategic vision of the unit, and for ensuring that the unit’s objectives align with both society’s needs and TNO’s goals.
In addition, I connect international stakeholders and governments to the high-tech Dutch ecosystem in this domain.
I focus on aligning the Space & Scientific Instrumentation portfolio with the needs of our governmental, institutional and business stakeholders. By maintaining our strategic direction for Satellite Communication, Earth Observation and Astronomy, I ensure our objectives remain aligned with TNO’s goals, society’s needs and our stakeholders’ challenges.
As part of my work, I ensure the team addresses societal challenges and improves Dutch competitiveness. This includes advising governments on policy decisions ranging from air pollution and the environment to our understanding of the universe to effective broadband communication. Our aim is always to boost the Dutch commercial control within international value chains.
In addition to my role at TNO, I am a Supervisory Board member at Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology and a Board Member at SpaceNed. In addition, I hold a Supervisory Board position at TU Delft Space Institute and a Board position at Space Expo Noordwijk.
