Michel's expertise spans various areas, including electrochemical processes for CO₂ capture and conversion, electric energy storage, hydrogen production, and electrodialysis.

He has been instrumental in several high-impact projects, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to drive innovation and achieve significant advancements in the field.

Current Projects: Michel is currently leading the development of low-temperature electrochemical conversion of CO₂ at TNO. His work aims to accelerate the scaling up of these technologies, making them viable for industrial implementation.
