With a background in chemistry and a PhD in catalysis from the University of Amsterdam, Monalisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Her passion lies in accelerating the energy transition by bringing innovative technologies to market.

At TNO, Monalisa focuses on the direct conversion of CO₂ into valuable chemicals, bridging the gap between technical innovation and market introduction. Her work contributes to the development of sustainable solutions that help the industry transition to a low-carbon future.

Monalisa previously worked as a Business Development Manager at Avantium and founded two spin-offs from the University of Amsterdam. Her international experience and deep knowledge of the chemical sector make her a valuable asset to TNO.
