Oskar van Deventer is senior scientist in self-sovereign identity (SSI). He is also chair of the CEN-CENELEC Focus Group on Quantum Technologies (FGQT). Oskar has a PhD in optical networking. Oskar has taken leading roles in European collaborative projects, including HBB-Next and eSSIF-Lab. He has been an active contributor to a wide variety of international standards bodies (ITU, ETSI, ISO, MPEG, HbbTV, DVB, Hyperledger, W3C, Sovrin, OpenSSI, ToIP, DIF, …), often in an editor role. He is author of one book, more than 150 publications, over 80 patent applications, over 800 standardization contributions and he holds a Guinness world record.
