Industrialised construction offers solutions to complex challenges, and we are keen to explore where we can make an impact together.

Industrial and conceptual construction present both significant opportunities and challenges for the construction sector. As Team Lead Building Industrialisation at TNO, within a newly established team, I focus on the transition to industrialised, product- and process-driven construction. We bridge market needs with TNO's expertise, driving knowledge development and innovations such as digital twins, predictive models, and ontologies.

Industrialised construction offers solutions to complex challenges, and we are keen to explore where we can make an impact together.

Are you working on industrialised construction and the sector's transition? Get in touch – I look forward to filling the agenda with insightful discussions and collaborations.

In addition to my role at TNO, I have been actively involved in buildingSMART International since 2018 as Co-Chair of the Steering Committee in the Building Room. BuildingSMART is the global organisation that promotes open standards and interoperability to drive the digital transformation of the construction industry. In this role, I contribute to the development and implementation of these standards, which are essential for a more efficient and sustainable built environment.

I also serve as a member of the Executive Board of the ECTP Digital Built Environment (DBE) Committee, which focuses on shaping Europe’s digitalisation strategy for the built environment. The DBE Committee works to remove barriers to digital adoption, share best practices, and establish a European roadmap for the sector’s digital transition, with a strong emphasis on the role of SMEs.

In both roles, I connect technology, market, and policy to accelerate digitalisation and innovation in the construction industry.
