Rogier Verberk
Dr Rogier Verberk holds a PhD In experimental physics from Leiden University (2005). At TNO, the Dutch national Research and Technology Organisation, he worked on EUV lithography with ASML and Carl Zeiss and became principal project manager.
From 2013 on he was co-founder of the QuTech research centre for quantum technologies. Since 2016 he is Director for Semiconductor & Quantum Technologies and Medical Photonics at TNO. He is active as core team member of the Dutch national roadmaps for Nanotechnology and Semiconductor Equipment, the Strategic Advisory Board of the European Quantum Technologies Flagship, and Supervisory Board member of QuantumDeltaNL. He co-authored the National Quantum Agenda, National Growth Fund proposals such as NXTGEN Hightech and Quantum Delta NL, and national strategic programs for ‘top sectors’ such as Semiconductor Equipment.
