Contact me to ask about diversity, equity and inclusion within TNO, and how TNO’s mission and strategy are inevitably connected to these matters.
My main focus areas are to raise awareness, further build a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture and ingrain DEI-way of working in the organisation.
The tasks of the DEI office are amongst others to raise intersectional and specific awareness about DEI related matters, facilitate employee engagement and dialogue, facilitate improving inclusive and intercultural skills, advance equitable processes, measure and monitor data, and implement a DEI way of working. The DEI Office supports and collaborates with the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that are established by and for employees, targeted at specific diversity dimensions. Currently, there are four; Women@TNO, Rainbow@TNO, Cultural Diversity@TNO, and Neurodiversity@TNO.
With an academic as well as practical background in intercultural communication and collaboration, and experience in DEI and change management I help TNO to broaden perspective and learn how to create an even more innovative work environment.
