My activities at TNO focus on the definition of assessment methods to evaluate the safety performance/benefit/potential of vehicle systems, with a focus on assisted and automated driving systems.

This includes mainly independent assessments by Euro NCAP (consumer testing), as well as type approval testing, but also supporting manufacturers during development.
