Tessa received her master’s degree in computer science in 2018 from Utrecht University (Netherlands). With a strong technical background and affinity for design she works on research projects that use XR to assist visually impaired users, improve collaboration for Search and Rescue missions at sea, and to hold virtual remote meetings. She has been involved in projects such as Proeftuin op de Noordzee, a virtual collaboration space for Search and Rescue missions, and IMPULS, for remote soldering training.
