Want to make your mark on our time? Become a scientist at TNO in Amsterdam!

What will be your role?

Introduction
As scientist/analyst industrial technologies in the Energy Transition Studies (ETS) department in Amsterdam, you will work closely with dedicated professionals on research projects and policy issues focused on decarbonizing the industry sector.

You will contribute to research and analyses aiming to support decision-making for a low-carbon energy transition in the Netherlands and in Europe. You will use diverse quantitative analysis tools, carry out technology assessments and contribute to writing policy-relevant and scientific publications, directly impacting policy discussions and the scientific community.

What will you be doing?
You are responsible for collecting and analyzing techno-economic data for emission reduction and energy saving technologies applied in the industry sector (with a focus on hydrogen, e-fuels, CCU and solar fuel technology). This forms the basis of our policy- and research projects. You conduct techno-economic and scenario analyses on the gathered information and contribute to discussions with stakeholders. Additionally, you collaborate intensively with both internal and external colleagues to develop new knowledge.
