As a Technical Architect in Health Data Spaces, your work will contribute significantly to the development of the 'health data spaces'. In this role, you will delve into this subject alongside TNO colleagues, businesses, and other organizations, navigating the opportunities it presents while addressing the questions it raises: Who controls the data? What analyses are permitted using the available data? What analyses are possible in a certain architecture? And how can data be reused without compromising the privacy of citizens?

This role places you at the leading edge of both technological and societal advancements, focusing on the secure and ethical (re)use of personal health data (both medical and self-collected). The nature of this work is fundamentally multidisciplinary, encouraging collaboration with a range of partners and consortia. This approach enables us to tackle issues from diverse perspectives.

As a Technical Architect in Health Data Spaces, you'll explore current technologies and contribute to the resolution of various societal challenges. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing solutions that ensure data privacy and security while enabling secure data reuse among stakeholders.
  • Utilizing AI, machine learning, and big data to derive valuable insights from health data.
  • Collaborating with industry partners, government agencies, and research institutions to establish technical standards and governance frameworks.
  • Writing research proposals and publications, and presenting your findings with the broader scientific community.
