What will be your role?
In this role, you’ll be at the center of the action, contributing to the implementation of new cloud technologies. Beyond working with existing tools, you’ll have the opportunity to develop solutions that push TNO’s innovative projects forward. You’ll also contribute to research papers and apply your academic background in our cutting-edge environment. We welcome your ideas and offer the freedom to lead projects independently when you’re ready.

What we expect from you
- Educational Background: We prefer candidates with a Master’s degree. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Technical Informatics and several years of experience, we’re also open to considering your application.
- Cloud Skills: Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Linux, is essential.
- Developer Mindset: You’re experienced in software development for complex cloud environments and feel at home in a technical setting.
- Languages: You’re proficient in Python, C, and Go, with the ability to choose the most suitable language based on the task.

We offer a gross monthly salary between € 4.500,- and € 6.600,- (based on your knowledge and experience), 8% holiday pay, a 13th month bonus of 8.33% and a flex budget (5.58% + € 180). The selection process
Please apply before the 24th of November, 2024. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. In a final meeting we will discuss the terms of employment and your tailored benefits package. We aim to finalize the entire process within four weeks.
The selection process may include an online assessment and a reference check.
A certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required before starting a new job at TNO.
As you will be working for clients in the domain of defence and security, a Certificate of No Objection issued by AIVD (The Dutch General Information and Security Service) is mandatory. This means you will have to undergo a security screening. Read more about security screening.
