TNO participates in DeepTechXL fund for early phase startups
TNO participates in DeepTechXL, a new fund that invests in early-stage startups. Strategic investors and co-initiators of the fund include ASML, Philips and the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM). PME Pensioenfonds and Invest-NL also invest in the fund. DeepTechXL aims for a minimum fund size of €100 million.
With the establishment of DeepTechXL, the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant will receive a unique fund that will invest in promising Dutch deep-tech startups and scale-ups.
With its contribution through TNO Tech Transfer, TNO contributes to the further development of the Dutch investment climate for start-ups. At the same time, it increases the chance of financing TNO spin-offs, which are, after all, all based on knowledge.
In addition to DeepTechXL, TNO also participates in a number of funds, such as Innovation Industries, Shift Invest and Lumolabs.
