TNO Announces the launch of ObjectivEye
Today, TNO announces the establishment of ObjectivEye, a spin-off focused on the objective recruitment and selection of new employees through AI tools. ObjectivEye is launching a recruitment platform that uses AI-supported methods for assessing candidates. TNO’s expertise in data science, ethical AI, and skills-based hiring forms the technological foundation of ObjectivEye.
AI-Driven selection
ObjectivEye uses TNO-validated AI to make the entire recruitment process – from job description to interview – objective and efficient. Traditional HR methods and processes often lead to subjective decisions and average lead times of 42 days. ObjectivEye offers a data-driven, objective, and faster selection based on the candidate’s skills. Both AI and HR staff assess candidate profiles. ObjectivEye adheres to the core values of the AI Act and builds reliable, human-centered AI. The platform helps employers comply with all laws and regulations and build a future-proof team. TNO is developing a new, national competency language that can be integrated into ObjectivEye’s platform.
Noura El Ouajdi, CEO of ObjectivEye: 'Traditional recruitment methods are often less efficient and costly. In Europe, 40% of employees leave within six months of their appointment. A wrong appointment costs companies an average of EUR 29,000. With ObjectivEye, organizations can speed up their recruitment processes by up to 30% and significantly improve the match between candidate and position.'

First pilot projects
ObjectivEye is being tested in various sectors and is collaborating with major organizations, including De Nederlandsche Bank, the ministry of Social Affairs, Medisch Spectrum Twente and TNO. The Dutch Tax Administration and Rijkswaterstaat are also considering a pilot.
Marjoleine van der Zwan, Managing Director of TNO Health & Work: 'TNO works on knowledge and innovations for a future-proof labor market. With ObjectivEye, we bring a concrete platform to the market that directly contributes to this.'
Bringing knowledge and innovation to the market
TNO’s strategy is aimed at applying and bringing promising technologies developed within TNO to the market on a large scale. Earlier this year, TNO launched the spin-off Scenexus. TNO’s current portfolio includes over 40 spin-offs and startups.

“TNO works on knowledge and innovations for a future-proof labor market. With ObjectivEye, we bring a concrete platform to the market that directly contributes to this.”
