Laser diffraction particle analyzer

In the laser diffraction particle analyzer a laser beam is focused on a sample. When the laser beam hits the particles this causes scattering of the light. This scattering is then measured whereby the particle size can be determined from the pattern.

The measuring range of the Bettersizer S3 is 0.01 -3500 µm. The device uses dual lens technology with an angle measuring range of 0.02° - 165° degrees
